SHE HAS COMPETED IN BJJ AND KICKBOXING. SHE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO MENTORING THE NEXT GENERATION. SHE HOLDS A BLUE BELT IN BJJ!

COACH HUNTER IS ONE OF THE OWNERS OF THE GYM AND RUNS OUR ADULT PROGRAM, HE HAS A BROWN BELT IN BJJ AND IS A PROFESSIONAL MMA FIGHTER AND GRAPPLER.

LARA IS THE OTHER OWNER OF THE GYM. SHE IS A BLUE BELT IN BJJ AND HELPS TEACH OUR ADULT PROGRAM.

JIU JITSU
Jiujitsu is a martial art that focuses on grappling, ground fighting, and submission holds. It is a relatively modern martial art, having originated in Japan in the 19th century. However, it has its roots in much older Japanese martial arts, such as judo and aikido.
KICKBOXING
Kickboxing is a full-contact combat sport that combines elements of punching and kicking. It is a hybrid martial art that has its roots in karate, Muay Thai, and Western boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or for competition.
FUN
​Fun is a subjective experience, so what is fun for one person may not be fun for another. However, there are some general characteristics that are often associated with fun and what we consider fun:
